I’m starting to get nervous butterflies — a mix of both excitement whilst I’m also starting to feel a little overwhelmed by how much there is to do in the next few weeks. It’s Paris fashion week next week, and I am really trying my best not to overcommit, but I also love catching up with people whilst they are in town and supporting brands I truly love. Over the next fortnight we are packing up our apartment, moving all our belongings into storage for when we are back in Paris early next year, packing for a family of four (soon to be five) for six months overseas, trying to prepare for a baby arriving in less than two months, and it’s a very busy season for work. Oh, and some days I am so exhausted I can barely get out of bed (pregnancy insomnia definitely doesn’t help). It will also be the boys last few days of school, so there’s a lot to get done with such a small window while they are still there. We also have a little baby moon planned in Champagne for early this week — we can only get away for one night, but we will try our best to relax and enjoy some time as a couple, with spa treatments, delicious French food and incredible scenery.

I have been meaning to share some answers to your most asked questions around pregnancy and birth, so I thought I would answer them here. If you’d like to know where we are planning to have our baby girl (the same hospital as my last two births), who my obstetrician is, where we have been going for all my antenatal appointments in London, what I do for recovery postpartum, and a few details about my birth plan I’ll cover everything and more for Holiday House members. Please feel free to send through any further questions as well, I’ll be more than happy to answer them.
